Calorie Graph

Real and lasting weight loss occurs when you consistently burn more calories than you consume.

The Calorie Graph displays the calories you consume (blue) and the calories you burn (gold). Using this graph, you will detect trends and tendencies in your eating and exercise habits. The Calorie Graph is useful in spotting situations where you need to compensate for exceeding your calorie consumption budget or not meeting your calorie burn goal.

This graph provides the motivation and insight you need to stay on-track with your weight program.

Weight Graph

This graph shows you body weight measurements. You can customize the time scale using the date control in the upper right side of the graph. You will probably find that your weight doesn't go down in a straight line. Expect to see a few bumps up as your weight declines steadily over time.

It's been shown that the simple act of recording your weight on a regular basis is an excellent weight loss strategy in and of itself.

Weekly Averages

Graphite allows you to view calories consumed and burned as weekly averages.

Here's the thing... You're not going to hit your calorie budgets for eating and exercise perfectly each day. Some days you might exceed your intake budget or you might exercise less than you expected. The “Weekly Average” view helps you make adjustments to your daily eating and exercise goals to account for the days where you might have eaten too much or exercise too little.

On the other hand, you might find that you have been under your calorie intake budget through the week or maybe you've exceeded your calorie burn goals by engaging in more exercise than planned. If this is the case, you might find that you can eat a bit more over the weekend and still stay on track with your weight loss goals. That's flexibility!
